Support We Offer

Reassurance when you cannot be there

Peace of mind for relatives, while protecting the person’s privacy and control.

You may live ten minutes away, several hours away or in another country. Caring about someone does not mean you can always physically be there.

Work, children, responsibilities and geography can make that impossible. What many families want is not constant reporting. They want calm reassurance that agreed support is happening and that their loved one is still living their own life.

With permission, an appropriate update might be as simple as

“We had a lovely visit today and went for a short walk.”
“The shopping has been done and everything has been put away.”
“We attended the appointment as planned.”
“Your mum has asked if you could telephone her when you have a moment.”

Privacy and independence come first

Updates are based on the person’s permission and an agreed communication plan. The aim is to help families feel connected without turning the person’s life into a report or taking away their privacy and right to make their own decisions.

Helping family relationships feel like family again

If some agreed errands, appointments, companionship and practical jobs are being supported, your own visits may have more room for lunch, laughter, old stories, football, a trip out — and simply being a daughter, son, spouse, grandchild, relative or friend.
