About Graceful Living Care and Support

We want to know the person, not just the tasks

Behind every request for support is a person with a lifetime of routines, stories, preferences, relationships, humour, interests and ways of doing things that matter to them.

Graceful Living Care and Support Ltd was created around a simple belief: good everyday support should help people continue living their own lives. It should not unnecessarily take over, reduce choice or make someone feel like a list of jobs to be completed.

A person may want help with shopping, but the important part is that they can still choose what they eat and remain involved in the decisions. They may want company on a walk, but the important part may be rebuilding confidence and feeling connected to the neighbourhood again. They may want someone to attend an appointment, but the real value can be having reassurance, organisation and a familiar person beside them.

The person comes first

We want to understand how someone likes their day to work. What do they enjoy? What do they miss? Which routines matter? Which café do they like? What do they prefer to do for themselves? What would make the week feel easier or more enjoyable?

Those details are not small. They are what make support personal and respectful.

Working with you, not simply doing things for you

Wherever possible, our approach is to support the person to remain involved. That can mean making the shopping list together rather than deciding what they need, walking around the shop together rather than automatically doing everything for them, or helping organise a diary without taking control of it.

For families too

We also understand that relatives may be carrying a great deal in the background. You may live nearby but be balancing work and children. You may live hours away. You may be a spouse who is tired from holding too much responsibility. You may simply wish you could visit more often.

Our aim is to help take some agreed everyday pressure away while keeping the person receiving support at the centre. The outcome we want is peace of mind for families without taking independence away from the person they love.

Honesty is part of trust

Our current service is non-regulated companionship and everyday support. We are clear about the boundary between this and regulated personal care, and we will not describe or promise support that falls outside the service we currently provide.

What we stand for

Graceful Living Care & Support exists for one reason: so the people you love can keep living their own life — their choices, their home, their way — with someone dependable beside them. Our film will tell that story in our own words. Until then, know this: we provide everyday, non-regulated companionship and support, we are honest about what we do and do not do, and we treat every person as the author of their own life.
